ABOUT

The Red Lion is a 3-Star former Coaching Inn,

dating back to the early 1800s.

Today, it continues to be a popular watering hole

between Jedburgh and Edinburgh.

Sitting at the heart of this friendly village, overlooking

the peaceful village square, The Red Lion provides a

and happy to point guests in the direction of

local walks and visitor attractions.

GUEST REVIEWS

My wife and I stayed at the Red Lion for a short holiday (3 nights). We found the hotel to be perfect for our needs. Staff were friendly, room spacious, bed very comfortable and toilet and shower easily accessible.

The people I met during my stay were friendly and great ambassadors for Earlston. From the owner of The Sweet Shop who spoke to me for 15mins about the town, the owner of the Aquarius hairdressers who gave me a haircut at short notice to the staff in the Chemist who sold me Walks around Earlston an excellent book for walkers of all abilities.
