1st October 2017 - Exhibition: Rachel Maclean's 'Spite your Face' Sunday - Alchemy Film & Arts, 39-41a High Street, Hawick, TD9 9BU - A darkly comic moral tale, depicting a post-truth dystopia where the world is turned on its head, leaving the characters untethered to any sense of right and wrong, truth and lies - 10am – 6pm - Free

7th and 8th October 2017 - 'Looking Back' Old Skills Fayre - Hay Farm Heavy Horse Centre - Working demonstrations with teams of horses using vintage ploughs and machinery. Meet the resident Clydesdale horses (stabled). Vintage tractors and machinery. Around 30 food and craft stalls. Demonstrations from corn dolly makers, wool spinners, pole/lathe wood turner, farrier, leather worker, stone mason and others - 10am - 4pm
