What's on in The Scottish Borders in June 2019
With reports of scorching weather set to burst at the beginning of the month, temperatures are expected to reach mid to high 20s with the bookies taking 2-1 odds that this June will be the hottest on record. This makes for the perfect beer garden weather as we promote the Summer of Pub in association with CAMRA. We aim to make this seasonal period thee most social yet, bringing the community together through their love of pubs and a cold pint on a hot summers day.
With the sevens season has passed for another year, we look forward to the return of the ridings. Over the coming months towns will proudly dive deep into their heritage and showcase some of the best showmanship, equestrianism and community spirit. 16th - 22nd June. Melrose Festival.
21st - 30th June. Galashiels Braw Lads Gatherings - leading us nicely into the Earlston Civic Week.
Tweedlove Bike Festival – June 2019
The celebration about all things bike is praised for being the UK’s best concentration of mountain and road biking. Exploring Scotland’s beautiful scenery has never been easier and TweedLove are keen to invite you along to participate in their races and opportunities. Tweed Valley, Innerleithen will be home to the Transcend festival from the 7th – 9th of June.

Borders Book Festival – 13 to 16 June 2019 Taking place at the Harmony Gardens & The Orchard, Melrose will be host to a number of authors and there is plenty space for browsing, buying and book signings along with some fun activities along the way. The gardens are open to the public and are a wonderful place to have nose around throughout the day and in between 100+ events that are expected to take place.
