What's on during October in and around the Red Lion Earlston

Curry and Quiz Night 16th October

As much as we hate to admit it, we think it’s fair to say the night’s are fairly drawing in. Its not all doom and gloom, as we get to look forward to an extra hour in our beds come the 27th of this month. Before then we also have some pub events returning after our online survey.

On Wednesday 16th of October are having a PUB QUIZ. We are accepting teams of up to 4 people and team entry is £10. The winner will then pick one of our nominated local charities to receive 100% of the entry money. The winning team will also win £40.00 of Red Lion vouchers and get to pick a category for next months pub quiz for them to come back and defend their title. We ask everyone to be at the pub for 6:30pm for a 7pm start.

In partnership with our quiz night we have also brought back our Curry Night. From 5pm for just £10.00 you can order one of our three curries. (Including a vegetarian option). This is accompanied with rice, naan bread and a drink. Let’s heat things up on these cold autumnal evenings!

We are still piecing together an event for psychic night and have the details of those interested. Stay tuned for further details when they become available.

Furthermore we are also putting together a programme of Winter Acoustic Sessions with solo artists, duo’s and bands from near and far. Keep an eye out on our social media for event pages and posts so that you don’t miss out.

Do not shoot the messenger but Christmas is less than 100 days away. With this in mind we are now taking bookings for our Christmas Menu. To take full advantage and avoid any disappointment head to our facebook page, or give us a call, email or pop in to find out more. Ho Ho Ho.
