New coffee beans, our self catering flat and What's on in August!
We certainly cannot believe it is August already, the summer season is flying past and we are enjoying every second of it. Our last newsletter to you was back in June, and admittedly we were snowed under with exciting activities that July brought to us.
The Red Lion is now proud to present it's self-catering flat which is available via AirBnB. It is great to see some many of our guests return time and time again to stay with us and our flat may offer an alternative experience for the duration of your next stay. Please see the link here.
We have also been working with our coffee bean supplier and have undertaken some very interesting coffee training with our new and current members of the team here at the Red Lion. With the help of a wee taste testing with some of our coffee regulars, we have upgraded our coffee beans to a more premium, hand roasted (in East Kilbride!) blend that tastes superb. But don’t just take our word for it, please come and have one for yourself and make sure you grab your loyalty card. If you want rewarded, its the card to carry. Collect 5 stamps and bag yourself a free cake and you can receive a free coffee for every 10th stamp.
With the festivities over, and a brilliant Earlston Civic Week under our belt we have put together the usual guide of local things to do this August. While we are in the midst of the Summer holidays we have packed it with fun for all the family and remember the pub can be a great retreat if you need some time away from the kids.
